Zimbabwe is a landlocked country surrounded by South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique. The country’s climate is tropical, with the rainy season from November to March. Some of the main attractions include Hwange National Park and Lake Kariba. Hwange National Park is the largest game reserve in Zimbabwe, and hosts 108 mammal species. Lake Kariba is the largest artificial lake in the world by volume.


Zimbabwe is most well known for the majestic Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In the West, just two hours by road from Victoria Falls is Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s premier game reserve, home to 108 mammal species including The Big-5, and over 400 bird species, including 50 raptors. With Lake Kariba in the North West, visitors can enjoy excellent safari sightings, world class tiger fishing, with stunning landscapes that include the Matusadona Mountains and National Park. The Matobo National Park in the South West, a World Heritage Site, is home to granite whale-back mountains and balancing rocks. With Cave Paintings, Cecil John Rhodes grave, Rhino tracking adds to the cultural and game experience. Zimbabwe is well known to have some of the best guides in Africa. Climate: August to April have warm temperatures, with October and November reaching highs of 45ºC. Rains occur from November through to March. May to July are winter months with days being warm and mornings and evenings very cool, with temperatures between 5ºC - 10ºC.
