Botswana is a landlocked country located in Southern Africa. The country is predominantly flat, tending toward gently rolling tableland. Botswana is dominated by the Kalahari Desert, which covers up to 70% of its land surface. The Okavango Delta, one of the world's largest inland deltas, is in the northwest. The Makgadikgadi Pan, a large salt pan, lies in the north. It is bordered by South Africa to the south and southeast, Namibia to the west and north, and Zimbabwe to the northeast.
The Okavango Delta provides any visitor a complete, unique safari experience. The activities start from a light aircraft flight to your lodge which provides spectacular views of this amazing eco system. The traditional Mokoro excursion (local version of a canoe) is a highlight to visitors providing a unique perspective of these wildlife-rich waterways. The main safari focus is on game drives and walking safaris.
Official languages: English and Tswana

Climate:The seasons in Botswana are indistinct. Rains generally start in October or November and persist through to March or April. Within that period there may be long dry spells. In April, temperatures begin to fall and May is generally regarded as the first month of the dry, cool winter, characterised by clear sunny days and cold nights. Spring begins in August and temperatures rise rapidly during the hot, dry period of September, October and November until the rains again break.
